PAYNESVILLE – The River Lakes girls’ hockey team picked a great day to put on the skates, last Thursday, Feb. 9. It was the opening round of the Section 6A quarterfinals, and the Lady Stars put up a dozen and gave-up zilch, overpowering Morris/Benson Area at Koronis Civic Arena.
