Robert Beck, 72

Robert Beck of Clear Lake died Thursday, Sept. 18, 2003, as a result of a farm accident. He was 72.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Clear Lake with Rev. Henry Fry officiating. Burial followed at the Clear Lake Cemetery. Friends called from 4-9 p.m. Monday at Dingmann-Arnold Funeral Home in Clear Lake and one hour prior to the services Tuesday at the church in Clear Lake. Trinity Lutheran prayers were at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Robert E. Beck was born March 17, 1931, in Clear Lake to George and Margaret (Kirchenbauer) Beck. He married Erma Gehrke on Aug. 28, 1954, at Concordia Lutheran Church in Fairhaven. He farmed and lived near Clear Lake his entire life. Robert was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Clear Lake.
Beck was preceded in death by his parents; sons Robert G. Beck and Karl J. Beck; and sister Barbara Lange.
He is survived by his wife Erma of Clear Lake; sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Judy Beck of Clear Lake, Steve and Mary Lynne Beck of Kimball, Richard and Bobbi Jo Beck of Kimball; brothers and sister, George Beck of Princeton, Ruth Uran of Santiago, and Donald Beck of Brooklyn Park; and 12 grandchildren.
