Robert M. Johnson died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2006, at his South Haven home. He was 72. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 5, at Fair Haven Christian Church in Fair Haven, with a reception and time of sharing to follow at Playland Ballroom in Kimball. Burial will be in Fair Haven Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Kimball, and one hour prior to services Friday at the church. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Robert M. Johnson was born Sept. 30, 1934, in Litchfield to Victor and Edna (Nelson) Johnson. He married Elaine Salmela Oct. 22, 1960, at the Kimball Church of Christ. Bob owned and operated E-Z Crusher in Annandale and Sauk Centre, and Kimball Railcar Services in Kimball. He was a member of the Fair Haven Christian Church. Bob was a huge racing fan and sponsor. He most enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Bob was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Elaine; daughters Kelly (and Donald) Donabauer of Fair Haven, Kerry Johnson (and fiance Skip Nolan) of Annandale, and Kristy (and Tom) Harren of St. Cloud; brothers Harlan (and Arlene) Johnson of Litchfield, and Ralph (and Virginia) Johnson of Princeton; grandchildren Tiffany and Tabitha Maus, Nicholas and Samantha Donabauer, Jarrett and Victoria Harren. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Fair Haven Christian Church.
