Ron Daniels died unexpectedly Thursday morning, Jan. 5, 2023, at his Watkins home, of natural causes. He was 54.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Cold Spring. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 8, at Wenner Funeral Home in Cold Spring, and continue Monday from 11:30-12:30 p.m., also at the funeral home. Ronald W. Daniels was born June 7, 1968, in Fayetteville, Ark., to Ronald D. and Edith (Keppers) Daniels. He graduated from ROCORI High School with the Class of 1986. Ron served in the U.S. Army. He worked at Farm-Rite Equipment Inc. in Dassel. He loved the outdoors and was an awesome dad and phenomenal cook. Ron had a big heart, and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He was a member of the Patriot Guard, and former member of the Kimball Fire Department.
Ron was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his fiancée Tanya Akerson; son Parker; stepchildren Dakota Elmore and Kierra Elmore; mother; siblings Ken (and Laura) Daniels, Steve (and Tammy) Daniels, John (and Trang) Daniels, Mary (and Gordon) Schrubbe, Joyce Daniels, Clara Daniels, Roy (and Tina) Daniels, and Susie Daniels; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
