RMHC (Ronald McDonald House Charities) provides vital resources and compassionate care to children and their families who are being served by hospitals worldwide. RMHC has created programs that strengthen families during difficult times.
Last year right around this time of the year, my sister Haley Robben was diagnosed with a rare but common disease called Dysautonomia Disease. The Mayo Clinic was our family’s last resort to help find the answers to her chronic pains. We had heard about the Ronald McDonald House and were lucky enough to get the chance to stay and have the support of this amazing charity. The Ronald McDonald House was like a home away from home.
Every child who is sick that stays at the Ronald McDonald House receives a tie blanket. The blanket my sister received helped her find comfort in her doctoring journey at the Mayo for her rare but common disease.
As a family that has stayed at the Ronald Mcdonald House, we would like to give back our appreaction of thanks by donating 100+ blankets to the children who are sick.
We currently have 30 blankets done. If you would like to donate a tie blanket please call or text Hedy Robben at (320) 249-6521.
We plan on delivering the blankets around Christmas. Help us reach our goal to give back and to help give comfort to children who are sick.
