Ronda Willenbring of St. Cloud died Monday, Jan. 22, 2007, from injuries received in a two-vehicle accident 2 miles north of Kimball. She was 40. Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 26, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud with Rev. Timothy Wenzel officiating. Entombment was in Assumption Cemetery Mausoleum, St. Cloud. Friends called from 4-9 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 25, and after 9 a.m. Friday at Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud. Waite Park American Legion Silver Star Post 428 Auxiliary prayed at 6 p.m. Thursday, followed by parish prayers at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Ronda M. Willenbring was born Jan. 12, 1967, in St. Cloud to Robert and MaryAnn (Gertken) Schmitz. She graduated from St. Cloud Apollo High School in 1985. Ronda married Daniel E. Willenbring April 26, 2003, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud. She was employed by Vision Ease, then DeZurik and currently at Precision Optical in St. Cloud. Ronda was a member of St. Anthony’s Parish and Waite Park American Legion Silver Star Post 428 Auxiliary. She enjoyed fishing, 4-wheeling, family vacations and spending time with nephews and nieces. She will be remembered as a very caring and loving person who greeted everyone with a smile and will be greatly missed. Ronda was preceded in death by her grandparents, and mother-in-law Rita Willenbring in 2003. Ronda is survived by her husband Dan; parents Robert and MaryAnn Schmitz of St. Cloud; brother Robert (and Linda) Schmitz Jr. of Cold Spring; sister Brenda (and Brett) LeTourneau of St. Cloud; twin brother Rodney (and Tina) Schmitz of Cold Spring; nieces, nephews and godson Jacob, Crystal, Steven, Scott and Josh. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
