Russell Yanish of Kimball died Monday, Jan. 1, 2007, at the St. Cloud Hospital. He was 52. Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 6, at St. Anne Catholic Church in Kimball with Fr. Tom Knoblach officiating. Burial was in St. Anne Catholic Cemetery. Friends called from 4-7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 5, at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Kimball and one hour prior to services Saturday at the church. A prayer service was held at 6:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Russell Albert Yanish was born Sept. 25, 1954, in St. Cloud to Anthony and Clara (Janochoski) Yanish. He married Michelle Plotnik March 27, 1998, in St. Cloud. Russell loved his birds, flowers, animals and being in the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and camping.
