Saturday, Dec. 8, the Lions Christmas Santa Store will be open from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., at the Watkins Village Hall.
At 1 p.m. Cardboard Art productions will present “The Pirates’ Christmas Ransom.” A greedy band of pirates threaten to destroy Christmas with their evil plan. But are the pirates really evil?
Food shelf donations are appreciated. Following the program there will be drawings for door prizes.
Santa will be available for pictures and visiting with the children after the play (please bring your own camera). Bags of candy will be provided by the Watkins Chamber of Commerce.
At the Watkins skating rink, the Watkins Lions Club will serve free hot chocolate and hot dogs. There will also be free horse-drawn sleigh rides driven by Doreen Brugger.
