At about 11:09 a.m. Saturday, June 3, the Stearns County Emergency Communications Center received a 911 call reporting a scooter crash with injuries on County Road 140 in Rockville.
Upon arrival at the scene, deputies determined that Shayna Leigh St. Onge, 48 of Little Falls, had been operating a 2006 KYMCO scooter eastbound on County Road 140. St. Onge was maneuvering a curve, west of Glen Cove Road, when she lost control of the scooter and drove into the south ditch. St. Onge was the sole occupant of the scooter and was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. She was treated for her injuries on scene and later transported to the St. Cloud Hospital by Mayo Clinic Ambulance.
