The 2002-2003 seventh grade boys’ basketball squad had ten members. The young Cubs finished the season on a strong point with victories over Rockford 32-17, Howard Lake-Waverly 29-26 and Eden Valley-Watkins 29-20. The boys’ season record was 5-3. Much progress was made during the season. The team became much more aggressive and team-oriented as the season progressed. Hard work and dedication is necessary for this to continue during the off-season. All team members were able to see playing time in all games. Thanks to the parents and fans for all of their support throughout the season.
