The Sixth District American Legion Auxiliary Convention was held June 6-7 on the campus of Bemidji State University. Several members of Kimball Unit #261 attended the convention. Renee Berscheid carried the Sixth District flag in the processional. Kimball colors were carried by Dori Hamilton and Carol Santone. District reports were given by Abby Schmidt on Americanism, Colette VanVleet on junior activities and LuAnn Marschel on membership. Other members attending were Alvina Berscheid, Myrna Bollman, Jeanne Marschel and Leona Marschel. The highlight of the weekend was the installation of the 2003-04 officers. LuAnn Marschel was installed as the 2003-04 district president and Dori Hamilton was named sergeant-at-arms. Also serving the Kimball district will be Renee Berscheid as memory book chairman and Abby Schmidt as chairman for junior activities.
