Snake, Rattle and Roll at Lake Maria State Park

Saturday, April 22, at 10 a.m. at the trail center. Emily Roberts of Snake Discovery will be presenting ?ÄúSnake, Rattle, and Roll?Äù. This program focuses on native reptiles. There will be a large variety of reptiles at this program and audience members get to touch, hold and even feed some of them. Snakes, turtles and lizards are brought along for a total of 

13 animals.

The program is free, but there is a $5 park vehicle entrance fee for those without an annual permit. Annual permits for all state parks are available at the park office for $25.

Lake Maria State Park is located approximately seven miles northwest of Monticello, 10 miles northeast of Annandale and five miles north of Maple Lake on Wright County Highway 111.
