A single by Morgan Streit in the second inning was a positive for Kimball. Claire Maus led things off on the rubber for the Cubs; she surrendered 12 runs on six hits over five innings, striking out six. Streit went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Kimball in hits. The Cubs got hits from A. Leither (1) and B. Stelten (1) as well.
