Some rain could be coming this way
Weather: Most of the area enjoyed a beautiful day Sunday. It allowed some of you to get out on the golf course and enjoy a round or two of golf or other fun activities.
Parts of southern Minnesota hit the low- to mid-70s Sunday with lots of sunshine. It was fairly breezy at times, however, which maybe kept it from getting a grade of an A+.
Jackson, Fairmont, and Albert Lea all reported highs on Sunday of a warm 75 degrees; while most of central and west central Minnesota saw highs in the 50s and 60s.
Monday was cooler on the backside of a cold front as highs reached only the low- to mid-30s across northern Minnesota and the low- to mid-40s across central and west central Minnesota.
Some snow also fell across northeastern Minnesota.
A wintery mix of precipitation fell across west central and southern Minnesota Monday into early Tuesday as a fairly well organized low-pressure system brought the first of several storm systems to push across the state.
Rain and snow chances will return for Wednesday into Thursday before high pressure will arrive just in time for the start of the weekend. Friday, we should see a clearing sky but it will be on the chilly side.
Hang in there, however, we should see some 50s and 60s by Sunday and Monday, if the current computer models hold true.
