South Haven Days schedule

The 2003 South Haven Days celebration begins at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 24, with the Little Miss South Haven contestant tea at the South Haven City Hall. Friday, July 25, holds in store a youth and teen dance at city hall. Admission is $1 and a food shelf donation. The dance will take place from 7-10 p.m. The United Methodist Church will hold a craft sale Saturday, July 26, in addition to area garage sales. Other events scheduled for the day include: o 11:00 a.m. – Little Miss South Haven coronation. o Noon – Meat raffle by the South Haven Sportsman’s Club. o 1:00 p.m. – Parade. Call Brenda at (320) 236-2573 or Laure at (320) 236-9591 to enter the parade. o 1:30 p.m. – Kiddie games in the park. o 2-3 p.m. – Performance by the Annandale Community Band. o 2 p.m. – Polish horseshoes and the medallion hunt. o 3 p.m. – Sidewalk chalk art judging. o 3-6 p.m. – Clem and DeWayne Old Tyme Band. o 4 p.m. – Pork chop feed sponsored by the Fair Haven Lions Club. o 8 p.m. – Street Dance with the CRB Band. Softball games will be held Sunday, July 27.
