The Church of St. Anthony, Watkins, will hold its annual church festival Sunday, Aug. 26. Events begin with a Polka Mass at 10 a.m. with Stan’s Country Dutchmen. There will be an indoor/outdoor dinner buffet with from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m., serving grilled pork chops, dinner roll, cheesy potatoes and all the trimmings, including homeade pie (takeouts available); cost is $7.50 for adults, $3.50 for children 4-10, and free to preschoolers. A silent auction will be held from 11 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Other activities include a white elephant sale, cash raffle, Bingo, children’s games, food and refreshment stands, fancy work and farmer’s market.
