St. Mary Help of Christians Parish Festival will be held Saturday-Sunday, June 23-24, at St. Mary Help of Christians Parish grounds, 24588 County Road 7, St. Augusta. Saturday activities include: gussie gallop (1K 8:15-8:45 a.m. and 5K at 8:45 a.m.); outdoor Mass at 5 p.m.; firefighters water ball fights at 6 p.m. (featuring area departments); and dance with music by Diamond Back 8:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m.), as well as food and beverages. Sunday activities include: Outdoor Polka Mass at 10 a.m.; ham and chicken dinner at 10:45 a.m. (catered by Bernie Popp), $7.50 adults, $5 3-8 year-olds, and free to those two and younger; Bingo, games, food and beverages all day long; Kevin Lange and the Mississippi Drifters at noon; quilt auction at 2 p.m.; kids pedal tractor pull at 3 p.m.; bountiful baskets at 4 p.m.; and raffle at 5 p.m.
