The St. Cloud Area Regional Human Rights Commission will host a review of the St. Cloud Community Policing Agreement from 12-2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, at the St. Cloud Police Department.
The St. Cloud Community Policing Agreement is a living document, viewable here: https://www.ci.stcloud.mn.us/1682/Community-Policing-Agreement
It is crafted by community groups and the Police Department to come up with an agreement on how the police and the community should interact with each other. The Agreement calls for the Police Department and the local Human Rights Commission to hold an annual public meeting “to report mutual issues in the interest of forwarding community policing and enhancing community relations, and to evaluate the effectiveness” of the Agreement.
All are welcome to attend to learn more about the document and bring questions forward.
