STEARNS COUNTY IS SEEKING NAMES OF RESIDENTS WHO LIVE IN THE FOURTH COMMISSIONER DISTRICT AND WHO ARE INTERESED IN BEING CONSIDERED FOR APPOINTMENT TO THE STEARNS COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT The Board of Adjustment is a seven member, quasi-judicial body which acts on variance requests from County ordinances and appeals of the decisions of administrative officials of the Environmental Services Department. The position available on the Board of Adjustment for the Fourth Commissioner District is for a three year appointment. Applicants may not be an elected official or a County employee. Applicants must reside in the Fourth Commissioner District of Stearns County, including the townships of Fairhaven and Lynden, the City of St. Augusta and Ward 1, Precincts 1, 2, 2A and 3; Ward 3, Precincts 4 and 6; and Ward 6, Precincts 1, 2, 3 and 4, all in the City of St. Cloud.
