For interested adult volunteers and youth members
Are you interested in science, technology, or engineering?
Stearns County 4-H is seeking adult volunteers and youth members who are interested in engaging in exciting science and engineering opportunities! Perhaps you are new to all that 4-H offers, or perhaps you are already an adult volunteer or youth 4-H member … either way, if you are interested in science, this is the project club for you!
The goal of 4-H Robotics is to help youth gain confidence and competence in robotics and other science experiences. Youth will utilize hands-on learning to explore and understand the importance of science. Come to the first meeting to learn about Vex Robotics and the opportunity for the club to build a Vex Robot for the St. Cloud competition in March.
Younger members will explore the basics of robotics and engineering through national 4-H curriculum Junk Drawer Robotics. Aerospace, digital media, engineering design and aquatic robotics will also be explored.
Youth in grades kindergarten through one year past high school and parents are invited to the
Stearns County 4-H Robotics meeting.
Location: St. Cloud Technical and Community College, Room 1-350 (Door 6)
Dates: Tuesday, Oct. 9th, 7 p.m.
Contact Sara Budde, Stearns County 4-H Program Coordinator, if you would like to learn more about the Robotics club or about 4-H in general at (320) 255-6169.
