Jason Scott Jones, age 26, of Kimball was sentenced to 29 months in prison for a theft on Aug. 11, 2002. He will serve 19 1/3 months in prison with the other 9 2/3 months on supervised release, with the possibility of serving the entire 29 months in prison if the defendant violates prison rules. He was also sentenced to pay a $50 fine and provide a DNA sample. Jones was sentenced July 11 by Judge Hayden.
