The Board of Adjustment is a seven-member, quasi-judicial body which acts on variance requests from County ordinances and appeals of the decisions of administrative officials of the Environmental Services Department. There is one position available on the Board of Adjustment for the Third District. The term of the position is for a three-year appointment, beginning in 2003. Applicants may not be an elected official or a County employee. Applicants must reside in the Third Commissioner District of Stearns County, including the townships of Avon, Brockway, Precinct 1 of Collegeville, Eden Lake, Holding, Luxemburg, Maine Prairie and Munson; and the cities of Avon, Cold Spring, Eden Valley, Holdingford, Kimball, Richmond, Rockville and St. Stephen.
