Board of Adjustment
Notice is hereby given that the Stearns County Board of Adjustment, in and for the County of Stearns, will conduct a public hearing to consider variance applications on Thursday, February 24, 2022, in Room 1104, Stearns County Service Center, 3301 County Road 138, Waite Park MN, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Public Hearings:
To consider an After the Fact request from Lori and -Stanley Creamer, Jr., South Haven, Minn., from Sections 6.2.1G., 9.9.9A.(1)&(4), 10.2.11A.(1)(a) & 10.2.11A.(2)(a) of Stearns County Land Use and Zoning Ordinance #439 to leave as constructed a permitted single-family residential dwelling unit ahead of the established building line, less than 10 feet from the side property line in an R-1 zoning district and within the Shore Impact Zone (100 feet) of Grass Lake, classified Natural Environment. Also, to leave as constructed a residential accessory structure closer than 10 feet from the principal residential building on the lot and less than 10 feet from the side property line in an R-1 zoning district. Lastly, to construct a deck addition ahead of the established building line and within the Shore Impact Zone of Grass Lake, classified Natural Environment. Said Ordinance requires dwellings and additions be placed behind the established building line, outside of the Shore Impact Zone (100 feet) and a minimum 10 feet from the side property line in an R-1 zoning district and accessory structures a minimum 10 feet from the principal building on the lot and a minimum 10 feet from a side property line in an R-1 zoning district. Affected property: Lot 43, Block 2, Clearwater Harbor, Section 32, T122N, R27W, Lynden Township. Property address: 258 Baxter Road, South Haven MN.
