At about 8:24 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19, the Meeker County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a structure fire in the 11000 block of CSAH 26 in the Cedar Mills Township.
Meeker County deputies and paramedic, Hutchinson Fire Department, Litchfield Fire Department, Cosmos Fire Department, and Silverlake Fire Department all responded to the scene.
Deputies found a steel 20’x40’ shed partially engulfed in fire. The shed and its contents are a complete loss.
It is believed the fire originated in a utility room where a furnace and water heater were located.
The property is owned by Henry Reiner, 58. No one was injured as a result of the fire.
