Dean’s List The following area students were among 1,305 students named to the 2006 fall semester Dean’s List at the University of North Dakota: Mitchell Braegelmann of Kimball; Laura Craft, Daniel Labo and Andrea Neumann of Annandale; Adam Berg and Alan Imholte of South Haven. The UND Dean’s List includes students whose grade point averages are in the top 15 percent of the enrollment in each of the university’s degree granting colleges and schools. A student must have completed no fewer than 12 semester hours of academic work for the semester, of which eight or more hours must be graded work rather than “satisfactory/unsatisfactory.” President’s Roll of Honor Mitchell Braegelmann of Kimball was among more than 600 students named to the President’s Roll of Honor at the University of North Dakota for the 2006 fall semester. The UND President’s Roll of Honor recognizes outstanding academic achievement over the course of the student’s complete academic career. To qualify, a student must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.8 or higher (4.0 equals a straight A average), have earned a minimum of 30 semester hours and have earned a minimum of 12 hours at the close of the semester. D.J. Robertson Award Andrea Neumann of Annandale was among 112 students to receive the D.J. Robertson Award for earning straight A averages for the 2006 spring semester. The D.J. Robertson Academic Award is presented each fall and spring in recognition of academic excellence by freshman students. These students must achieve a 4,00 grade point average and have completed a minimum of 12 semester hours of traditionally graded coursework. The award honors the late D.J. Robertson, the first dean of UND’s University College and a faculty member for 37 years. He helped create University College in 1955 and served as its dean until retiring in 1978. He died in 1993.
