Dean’s List • Area students were among students named to the University of North Dakota’s 2006 fall semester Dean’s List. They include: Annandale – Laura Craft, Daniel Labo and Andrea Neumann; Hutchinson – Katie Hoversten and Kayla Lahr; Kimball – Mitchell Braegelmann; and South Haven – Adam Berg and Alan Imholte. • Brianna Libbesmeier of Kimball is among Dean’s List students from the 2006 fall semester at the Minnesota State University-Mankato. Students qualify for the list by achieving a 3.5 to 3.0 average. To qualify for academic honors, undergraduate students must be enrolled for at least 12 credit hours for a grade. • Jessica Mancini, daughter of Betty Nystrom and Bruce Mancini of Kimball, was among students named to the Dean’s List for the 2006 fall semester at the College of St. Benedict in St. Joseph. To be included on the Dean’s List, students must have a grade point average of at least 3.80. Academic Distinction List Danielle Babbitt of Watkins is among students named to the Academic Distinction List for the 2006-2007 fall semester at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. To be eligible, full-time students must be in good academic standing and have completed 12 or more credits during the semester, with a semester and resident GPA of 3.20 or higher. History Club member Jennifer Schefers, a junior from Kimball, is a member of the History Club at Southwest Minnesota State University, Marshall, for the 2006-2007 academic year. The History Club is dedicated to enhancing awareness of current political events, as well as our historical roots.
