Survey shows families, residents find satisfaction with Hilltop Care Center

·

Hilltop Care Center recently conducted a satisfaction survey of its residents and their families. The survey was a part of the Paynesville Area Health Care System’s effort to assess progress toward its goal – and commitment – of “providing high quality, integrated, quality-conscience care for the whole person, in a customer service, friendly manner, which meets or exceeds expected standards of practice.” One method Hilltop has employed to determine the success it has made toward reaching this objective is through annual resident and family satisfaction surveys. This year Hilltop received a score of 90 percent or higher in all of the areas surveyed, including quality of care and services. Satisfaction surveys were sent to all Hilltop Care Center residents’ families in the first quarter of 2003, and were distributed to residents at resident council. The cumulative rating of returned satisfaction surveys returned was 97 percent. All surveyed areas met the goal of 90 percent. The lowest individual score was 92 percent. There were many nice comments from families and residents. “These survey results recognize how dedicated the team of employees at Hilltop is to providing outstanding quality of care and great customer service to the residents and families they serve,” said Hilltop Care Center Administrator, Jay Ophoven. “The survey results further demonstrate the staffs’ commitment to caring for life.” To learn more about Hilltop, please call Heidi Ample, SW, for a private tour, or visit www.pahcs.com/Newsletter/ spring2003/watkins.html.
