Swimming Lessons available at Watkins Area Pool
Registration for American Red Cross swimming lessons will be held Saturday, May 6, 2017, from
9 to 10 a.m. at Watkins Village Hall, 110 Central Avenue South. Sessions will run Monday through Thursday for two weeks. Class will only be held on Friday if a makeup day is needed due to bad weather. If you are unable to register on May 6, you may register in-person at Watkins City Hall starting Monday, May 8. Payment is due at time of registration. You can also reserve a spot by calling (320) 764-6400 starting May 8, however the student will not be considered registered until payment is received. The city now accepts credit and debit cards for payment of lessons. Class size will be limited to 6 students per level. Children must be at least 5 years old and at least 42?Äù tall to enter Level 1. Classes will also be subject to change if the class is not at least half full one week prior to the start of class. The fee for Levels 1 through 5 is $40, and Preschool is $30. The Preschool level may not be instructed per American Red Cross. The city may have either a lifeguard or a WSI instructing the preschool classes. ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE.
