Terrance “Terry” Yurczyk died Thursday, May 11, 2017, at St. Cloud Hospital. He was 49.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 16, at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in St. Cloud with Rev. Gerald Dalseth officiating. Burial followed in St. Stephan Catholic Cemetery in St. Stephen. Visitation was from 4-8 p.m. Monday, May 15, and one hour prior to services Tuesday, both at the funeral home in St. Cloud.
Terrance D. Yurczyk was born Dec. 22, 1967, in St. Cloud to Norbert and Adeline (Bovy) Yurczyk. He grew up in St. Stephen on the family farm. Terry met a great friend, Tonya Hemminger, at work; she eventually became his life companion Feb. 15, 1990. He enjoyed driving bus, reading Stephen King novels, woodworking, and fishing with his children. Terry was kind-hearted, fun-loving, ,generous to a fault, and awful friendly. Above all else, Terry loved his family beyond words. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Terry was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Victor and Mary Bovy, paternal grandparents Julius and Adelia Yurczyk, and father-in-law Dennis Hemminger.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years Tonya Yurczyk; children Thomas Yurczyk of St. Cloud, Tamara (and fianc?© Luke Riecken) Yurczyk of St. Cloud; parents Norbert and Adeline Yurczyk of St. Stephen; siblings Linda (and Bruce Fuchs) Heinen of St. Joseph, Jerome (and Deb) Sauer of Sartell, Joann (and Vernon) Mehr of Richmond, Mary (and Bill) Stein of Kimball; mother-in-law Anna Marie Hemminger of Sartell; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Terry’s family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at St. Cloud Hospital for their support during this time.
