Thank you from Eden Valley blood drive

Thank you for supporting the American Red Cross Monday, Aug. 16. Seventy-nine units were collected. We know that each unit can help three people; so in a six hour blood drive there was enough blood products collected to potentially save the lives of 237 patients.

Thank you to the Legion and the Legion Auxiliary for serving in the canteen and picking up the tab for the snacks and the facility. Thank you to the members of the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church for the use of the church facility and their tasty meal. Thanks to Eden Valley Lions for the donation of the butter and cheese. Thanks to all who helped advertise; the
Tri-County News, EV-W Voice, other local papers, churches, local businesses, radio, and the word of mouth news in this community.

I enjoy seeing all the wonderful donors like yourself that make time in your schedule to donate to this life saving cause. May your sacrifice not go unrewarded and may you know how much you are appreciated.

I’m proud and thankful for all of you which help in any and every way to make these events run smoothly.

The next scheduled blood drive for Eden Valley is Tuesday, Jan. 25.
