The American Red Cross held a blood drive in Eden Valley on Thursday, May 11. With the nice spring weather finally making a return after the long winter, we were still able to collect 57 units. Thank you, donors, for arranging your schedule to donate life–saving blood products to patients in need.
Thank you to the Legion Auxiliary for serving in the canteen and picking up the tab for the snacks. Thank you to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church for hosting the drive and supplying the yummy supper for the workers. Thanks to all those who helped advertise: –Tri-County News, EV-W Voice, other local papers, churches, local businesses, and radio stations.
Thank you to the great team of volunteers who made sure that everyone was welcomed, fed, and hydrated. Your friendliness is heart-warming; thank you for your time.
The next blood drive in Eden Valley will be from 12-6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 7, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Scheduling for this drive has already begun. Then on Tuesday, Jan. 23, at Assumption Church from 12-6 p.m.
