Thank you from Watkins blood drive

Thank you to those who donated blood at the Watkins Red Cross blood drive on Dec. 26. Forty units were collected to help boost the blood supply. Faithful donors as well as two first-time donors made this possible.

This was a community effort. Thank you to those who advertised the drive: Tri-County News, EV-W Voice, City of Watkins, local businesses, and churches. Thanks to St. Anthony Church for the use of the hall. The help from all of the volunteers the day of the drive was greatly appreciated. You all made a difference in saving lives.

The next drive will be from 12-6 p.m. Tuesday, April 16.
