Kimball Elementary School was bustling with activity Tuesday, Aug. 26. Teachers were getting ready for the new school year and the office was full of energy. Staff members were picking up mail and supplies and new families were enrolling their children. One of our teachers quietly directed a man carrying several bags to my office. As I greeted him, he handed me the shopping bags and said he heard that some students were in need of school supplies. I asked the man whom we had to thank for this generosity. He simply replied, “Him.” When I asked who he was he replied, “Dan,” and walked out the door. Dan’s generosity that day supplied students at KES with pencils, reams of paper, notebooks, wash clothes and towels. Dan returned the next day with another bag full of packs of pencils; again, he left quietly. I would like to extend a sincere thank you to Dan for his gracious generosity to the students and families of Kimball Elementary School. Thank you, Dan. Jonathan Clark
