Theresa Albers of Annandale died Friday, Jan. 16, 2004, at the St. Cloud Hospital. She was 92.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 19, at Concordia Lutheran Church in Fair Haven with Rev. Henry Fry officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Friends called one hour prior to the funeral Monday.
Theresa Bertha Albers was born Sept. 8, 1911, in South Haven to Heinrich H. and Sophia D. (Roeders) Albers. She lived in South Haven all her life where she worked the family farm and was a homemaker. Theresa was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Fair haven. She has been a resident of the Annandale Care Center for the past four years. She loved crafts, animals, flowers and gardening.
Theresa was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Athina Lueders and Lydia Lubowitz; and brothers Henry, Walter, Edwin and Arnold Albers.
She is survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends.
Pallbearers were Dennis, David and Robert Blumke, Mike Michalski, Normal Schlueter and Lenny Lueders. Ruth Fry was organist for the funeral service. Arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care in Annandale.
