More than 28 teams signed up for the April 14 beanbag tournament sponsored by the Kimball Express Baseball Association on the Kimball baseball field. Proceeds went to baseball field improvements.

Members of the Kimball Senior High Choir presented a show called ?ÄúThe Heart of Rock and Roll.?Äù These members were Andrea Mertens, Michelle Gregory, Heather Piepkorn, Andrea Garding, Stephanie Deutsch, Jenny Tessmer, Jacki Stockinger, Tina Duncan, Shellie Trimble, Amy Pramann, Katie Duncan, Chasidy Duncan, Mike Klaers, Dustin Winter, Krista Nass, Jodi Randall, and Jeremiah Donabauer.

A Health Fair was held April 9 at the Kimball Area High School. Jodi Knaus from Annandale Care Clinic performed the ?Äòfinger prick?Äô blood test, Judy Claire of the Stearns County Health Services explained test results from the diabetes blood test, and Jim Unterberger demonstrated fire rescue techniques with the newly purchased Amkus power extraction tool.
