Kimball Area High School had its annual art show. Some of the artists won awards. These students are Nick Donnay, Morgan McKee, Megan Kammermeier, Justin Ring, Justine Ruhle, Joelle Wysoski, Adriann Koistinen, Sammi Stewart-James, Catherine Jurgens, Chelsie Colwill, and Lindsey Ostby.

Marine Staff Sgt. Guy L. Whimper from South Haven received the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement medal.

Seven members of Troop 357 spent a weekend studying, orienting, and pioneering at Camp Stearns. These Troops were Thor Mattick, Chris Hawkinson, Jesse Liedman, Dave Markgraf, and Bob Wilfahrt were five of the students.
