North Star 4-H treasurer Lyle Burgstaler presented a check to the Kingston Township Board, the proceeds of their bake sale for a Community Pride project. Joan Zahler (KAHS class of ?Äô75) reported from Burkino Faso, Africa; she had just returned from some time traveling, and was back to the 120-degree temperatures, dust, crowds, and beggars that abound in Oagadougou, her home-base village in Africa. KAHS alumnus Donald Wagner was ordained to the priesthood May 30.

Todd Haag was named All-Conference baseball player. Randy Sommers was on the conference golf team. Girls?Äô track wins the conference.
