Meeker County Sheriff?Äôs Office received a call that someone had forced entry into a residence in rural Litchfield. The homeowner?Äôs children had come home from school and saw him. They ran into a bedroom, locked the door and called 9-1-1. The suspect left the scene. Devin Bloom was later arrested for burglary.

After 22 years and nine months, Lorraine Gregory retired from the Kimball Library. With the library going to computers on January 1, 1996, Lorraine felt it would be good to allow her successor to learn the system from the beginning.
