Jill Messer, Amanda Kuseske and Zachary Kuseske each were given certificates and $100 checks last week. They were selected in a statewide essay contest sponsored by the Minnesota Chiefs of Police Association; only 18 eighth-grade students were selected from throughout Minnesota.
