Thursday, Jan. 12, the Stearns County Sheriff?Äôs Office conducted a traffic saturation that concentrated on texting while driving violations. The areas that were focused on were Division Street from downtown St. Cloud to 10th Ave. in Waite Park. Highway 15 between 2nd Street and 12th Street N. in St. Cloud and Roosevelt Rd./2nd Street south from Cooper Ave. in St. Cloud to 10th Ave. in Waite Park.
During this traffic detail deputies stopped 35 vehicles. As a result of the stops, 27 citations were issued. A breakdown of citations is listed below:
