Troop 357 has Court of Honor

·

Nine Scouts of Troop 357 and their parents attended the 2009 Court of Honor. Advancements in rank were presented as well as merit badges the Scouts have earned. Marlowe Lexvold earned his Life Rank and is just two merit badges and a project from Eagle Scout. Josh Miller and Alex Harter earned their Star Rank. James Sorensen earned first class and Brandon and Skylar Schiefelbein earned second class. Brad Mies and Austin Roerick are each just one merit badge and a project from earning their Eagle Rank and Cameron Wittenberg is two merit badges and a project from his Eagle Rank.

In addition, 32 merit badges were presented by Scoutmaster Bill Liedman.

The Troop is planning to attend Medicine Mountain Scout Ranch this summer and is actively raising funds with Christmas tree sales at this time and Coupon Book sales after Jan. 1.

Scouts of Troop 357 are in need of Eagle Scout service projects. BSA defines a service project as “The Eagle Project must demonstrate leadership of others and provide service to a worthy institution other than the Boy Scouts. This may be a religious institution, school, or your community.” If you have an idea for a project, please give Bill Liedman, Scoutmaster, a call at (398) 398-5523.
