The 682nd engineering battalion of Litchfield, with 28 members, will be serving in Iraq. A public send-off will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 18, at the Litchfield High School gym. The troops will bring supplies with them to Iraq and need your help in collecting the following items: Baby wipes, foot powder, soap, lotion, electrical cords, bandannas, snacks like gum, hard candy, lip balm, sunscreen, toothpaste, toothbrushes, gatorade or kool-aid mix, sunglasses, AA batteries, phone cards, and/or toilet paper. Drop off donations at the Litchfield High School, or bring them to the public send-off.
