Winter is turning to spring. Many people are beginning to think about the spring activities of planting our fields and gardens. When questions arise, remember to ask your local Extension office for the latest research-based information.
University of Minnesota Extension can truly be a valuable resource by connecting university resources to address community needs and questions. This goal is ultimately achieved by providing timely, unbiased education in many different outlets. Some of these outlets include newspapers, radio, workshops, websites and social media, just to name a few.
Extension?Äôs resources are also available 24-7 at our University of Minnesota Extension website. Simply type www.
extension.umn.edu, into your browser to access unlimited informational resources at your fingertips. There are a number of different icons across the top of the Extension webpage to help guide you toward the information you may be looking for. Outside of agriculture and the well-known 4-H youth development program, there are several other areas such as community, environment, family, food and gardening that showcase resources on the Extension website.
