Upcoming Fruit and Vegetable Grower online workshop

The University of Minnesota Extension will host a Fruit and Vegetable production workshop focused on pests, diseases, and pollinators. This workshop is being offered as a live virtual workshop from 1:30-4:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 7.

This is a free workshop. To gain access into the virtual classroom you must pre-register at z.umn.edu/veg. If you are interested in attending the workshop but cannot attend at that time, you must also pre-register. The workshop will be recorded, and those who pre-register will be sent the recording link after the live virtual workshop takes place.

We have three great presenters lined up:

Annie Klodd, Extension Educator – Fruit Production, will discuss the use of exclusion netting to deal with Spotted Wing Drosophila.

Natalie Hoidal, Extension Educator – Vegetable Production, will walk us through disease prevention.

University of Minnesota Apiculture Technician, Gary Reuter, will present on mutually beneficial habitats for pollinators and your vegetable or fruit fields.
