Kimball Library presents 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten – ongoing
1,000 Books Before Kinder-garten is a reading program designed to increase the awareness of early literacy and to encourage parents to embrace their role as their child?Äôs first teacher. Plus there are prizes! This program is ongoing, so you can sign up any time! No limit; please come to the library to register. Sponsored by the Kimball Lions Club and Great River Regional Library.
Sunshine storytime ?Äì July 5
Come to storytime to experience tales, songs and a fun craft! Early literacy is what children know about reading and writing before they actually read and write. Our next get-together is on Wednesday, July 5, from 10:30-11:30 a.m. For ages 3-8. Limit 24. Pre-registration is preferred; if space is available, walk-ins are welcome. Sponsored by the Kimball Area Friends of the Library.
