Valley Daze 2025 “Where Hometown Vibe Comes Alive” is set for June 26-29 and will have some new events in the Saturday lineup.

After several years, a co-ed volleyball tournament is back on the schedule. Starting at 9:30 a.m. at the high school football/baseball practice fields, this will be a grass tournament. Entry fee is $120 a team with an 80% payout. The rest will be donated to EV-W Boosters/EV-W Volleyball. Call Amy Bischof to register: (320) 221-2815.

Another new event in the lineup is Dr. Street “Magician” who will be entertaining crowds in the food court with shows at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. and will be strolling around from 2-2:30 p.m., 3:45 p.m., and 4:15 p.m. The Army Reserve also will be operating games from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. along Cossairt Avenue.

Lastly, Assumption Church will also host a “Church History Presentation” at 4 p.m. The event is open to the public.

In addition to the new events, the 2025 Valley Daze parade will start at 6 p.m. This year’s grand marshals are  Bob “Birdie” Geislinger and his wife Diane. Birdie is the long-time manager of the Eden Valley Hawks and the couple have been been fixtures in the Hawk hamburger stand which has been a popular part of Valley Daze since the 1970s.
