Valley Victors 4-H Club Report

At the Valley Victors’ February meeting, we did a Chopped Challenge. We had five teams with five to six members on each team. The five ingredients we all needed to use were strawberries, basil, carrots, cheese, and spaghetti noodles. We had an hour and a half to cook our meals.

There were three judges and, at the end of the hour and a half, they chose a winner. Judges scored on taste, presentation, creative ingredient use, and ensuring all ingredients were used.

The winner was spaghetti bake with asparagus and carrots and strawberry pie for dessert. Some of the other dishes were cheesy chicken pasta with strawberry pudding, and spaghetti and a smoothie.
