Valley Victors 4-H Meeting, April 14

The Monday, April 14, meeting of the Valley Victors was held at St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Eden Valley. Before our meeting started, Valley Victors had the chance to select some really cool projects to learn more about. These hands-on projects included: making bat houses, geocaching, making venison stir fry, making mini gardens, making first aid kits and learning to crochet and knit. Thanks to all of the volunteers for organizing these awesome projects.

Demonstrations were conducted by Henry Lemke on how to brush your teeth, Mitchel Lipinski on how to make crunchy apple rings, Adrienne Lipinski on who to tell a story of your own and Dawson Schmitz talked about his rabbit, Rockstar. For roll call, members responded by naming a crop that you can plant. In Old Business, we discussed our club project leaders for the fair and our participation in Valley Daze. In New Business, we talked about road ditch cleanup. We also reviewed important upcoming dates and deadlines.

The next meeting of the Valley Victors will be held at the Eden Valley Event Center Monday, May 5, with refreshments starting at 6:30 p.m., then demonstrations and the meeting at 7 p.m..
