Vaughn F. Clark, age 50, of Baxter died Sunday, June 18, 2000, at the St. Cloud Hospital.

Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 21, at the Church of Christ in Kimball with Pastors Jerry Albert and Jon Albert officiating. Burial followed in Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Pearl Lake. Friends called from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Kimball, and one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday. There was a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral chapel in Kimball.

Vaughn F. Clark was born April 17, 1950, in Litchfield to Harold and Clara (Shreffler) Clark. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Viet Nam War. He married Lenora A. Kuechle on March 3, 1973 in St. Nicholas; she preceded him in death on June 20, 1995. He lived in Kimball and did maintenance work for Kimball Area School District from 1986-1999, and the Brainerd School District for the past six months. He enjoyed fishing, motorcycling and woodworking.

He was preceded in death by his father and wife.

Clark is survived by his four children: Michelle Clark of Watkins, Tonya (and Steve) Brutger of Richmond, Scott Clark of St. Cloud and Joshua Clark of Kimball; granddaughter Katona Brutger of Richmond; his fiancee Dona Lietzau of Baxter and her children: Bryan Lietzau of Kimball, Valerie Lietzau of Baxter and Brady Lietzau of Baxter; his mother Clara Clark of Paynesville; brothers and sisters: Les (and Judy) Clark of Maple Lake, Brenda (and Tom) Niel of Winnipeg, Sandra (and John) Christianson of Maple Grove and Norma Jean (and James) Hiltner of Eden Valley.

Pallbearers were Dan Schmitz, Robert and Charles Kuechle, Tom Niel, John Christianson, James Hiltner, Wayne Mueller and Paul Sandell.

Arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care of Kimball.
