Tuesday, May 23, at 3:49 a.m., the Stearns County Sheriff?Äôs Office received a report of a vehicle fire at the address of 20618 Emerald Hill Road in Wakefield Township.
Todd Powell Denzer, 25 years old, awoke to the horn of his 2008 red Chevrolet Silverado 2500 going constantly in the driveway. Todd opened the driver?Äôs side door and saw smoke had filled the passenger area. The inside of the truck was soon engulfed in flames and spread to the entire vehicle.
The fire was extinguished by the Cold Spring Fire Department. The vehicle was a total, loss and the fire remains under investigation, but does not appear to be suspicious at this time. The Cold Spring Fire Department and Gold Cross Ambulance responded to the fire.
